There is one time in my life whenever i had a supernatural aid, and that would have been whenever i was in the hospital right after my surgury. The medicine that i was given was making me sick but i still had to get up and walk around the hall way. For some reason it just seemed like there was something there that helped me fight through the pain and kept going.

An example of this would be in the Odyssey whenever Odysseus was stranded out at sea. He had some supernatural aide with him to make it back home to his family alive. He might not have known what he was in store for, but he was determined to make it back home alive.

The poem that i think can go with the theme would be “We wear the mask” by Susie Asado. It talks about how the mask hides your true self. This could be like the super natural aide because its not your true self but everyone can relate to the feeling at some point in there life.
